VividQ Wins 'Best Innovation: VR/AR' at the CogX Awards

Innovation is vital to what we do at VividQ, so we are proud to announce that we won the Best Innovation: VR/AR award at this year’s CogX Awards.

As CogX explains on its website, the award “highlights the best new VR/AR innovation and draws attention to the vast potential of this field.” The award is one step to recognising our cutting-edge innovation and groundbreaking display technology that has the potential to lead us into an exciting new future. 

Recognition at this year’s awards is inspiring as it comes amid significant AR and VR industry developments, with Apple’s Vision Pro announcement and new products from Meta Quest and PICO.

The moment that we were announced as winner

VividQ is a pioneer of holographic display technology for AR and VR, specialising in developing game-changing visual experiences for the future of gaming and entertainment. Through our Cobalt hardware development kits, we license our technology to AR/VR headset manufacturers to develop the next generation of displays.

Another big winner at the CogX Awards was Professor Ronjon Nag, Managing Director and Founder at VividQ investors R42 Group who won the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' and 'Outstanding Investor in AI' for his contributions the technology field. His ongoing support of the company has been influential in achieving our recent growth.

The CogX Awards ceremony happened tonight (12 June 2023) at the O2 Indigo, London. The event is part of the larger CogX Festival in London, which calls itself the “world’s biggest festival of inspiration, impact and transformational change.”
